Rudy is Floored-a'd







Drawing the black and white cartoons take much less time than the massive color monster giants that I've been laboring over. Below are the different stages the toon goes through. The process goes like this: pencil > brush > quill > computer. The result is a magical cartoon that changes the world. Hopefully. Not really.

Fascinating stuff. Are you at liberty to reveal your process after the scanning takes place? Presumably you add the diagonal tone using a Photoshop layer but is that then painted on as a brush? Masked? Cloned? And how is the actual tone generated? It's a lot more distinctive than the usual dots or cross-hatching.
